About the role
CMA Lansing Care and Rehab is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join their team. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Pass medications as prescribed by the physician
- Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues
Requirements
- Current Kansas CMA license
- Current CPR certification
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience in geriatric nursing preferred but not required
- Trustworthy and respectful of others
- Dependable, professional, and a team player
- Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with seniors
