Certified Medication Aide (CMA) $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!

About the role

Coweta Care and Rehab seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small team of caring professionals with the resources of a larger enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Demonstrates knowledge of “five rights” of medication administration
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications
• Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality
• Communicates effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general equivalency
• Required valid certification as a CMA with active CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Maintains a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
