About the role

Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
• Triage and rooming of patients.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Possesses the ability to perform day-to-day clerical tasks and related duties.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum one year of experience required.
• Education: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Training: Approved nursing or medical assistant course required.
• Special Skills: Computer literacy required; must maintain certification. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Licensure: Certification by an approved accredited certification body required, or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date. BLS certification required within 14 days of hire date.
