About the role
Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
- Triage and rooming of patients
- Provides for patient safety.
- Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.
- Participates in ongoing educational activities.
- Completes assigned goals.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of one year experience.
- Education: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency; skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
- Training: Completion of an approved nursing or medical assistant course.
- Licensure: Certification by an approved accredited certification body (must be obtained within 6 months of hire); BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Maintain certification.
- Phlebotomy experience (preferred/desired).
