Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS CPR by the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience (can be substituted for the program).

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care.
• Handling patient registration.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Performing various office-related tasks.

Certification Requirements

• Must obtain at least one of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Failure to provide your certification may lead to disciplinary action, up to termination.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.05 - $28.14 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
