Job Description

You will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our Primary Care office. Your responsibilities include:

• Taking and recording vital signs and EKGs.
• Preparing patients for examinations.
• Obtaining and updating patient medication lists and giving injections.
• Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians.
• EMR, rooming patients, and clerical work, if needed.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate certification required.
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant and/or medical secretary.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21/hr - $30/hr. Pay transparency: The above reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
