How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Proficiency in patient rooming protocols, conduct patient intake, measure vital signs, and assist the care team with treatments and procedures as directed.
- Manage phone communications, maintain patient records, and assist with supply inventory, ordering, and stocking.
- Ensure treatment rooms are prepared for examinations and the clinical area is clean and well-organized.
- List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, including follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider.
- Transcribe patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- MEDICAL ASSISTANT obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences We're Seeking
- At least one year of experience in a Medical Clinic or Medical Group setting.
- Demonstrated experience with patient rooming procedures.
