Responsibilities
- Maintain education requirements and demonstrate competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests.
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the practice’s designated system.
- Maintain OSHA regulatory enforcement and ensure office compliance, following safety processes and policies.
- Provide whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.
- Maintain confidentiality of employees' and patients' administrative and medical information.
- Support staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers when necessary.
- Perform clinical intake according to policy and procedures, including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
- Absorb minor procedures associated with specialty and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service or results.
- Educate patients regarding tests, medications, and diet, providing clear and accurate instructions.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of chronic disease management.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources.
- Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems.
- Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques.
- Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of their certification.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy, and a professional demeanor.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing, and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements.
- Experience with computers.

Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equiv.
- 1+ year of related work experience (preferred).
- Experience in medical clinic (preferred).

Pay
This facility pays between $18.51 - $29.62 per hour.
Schedule
Full time, Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm, Saturday 8am-12pm (once per month); if working Saturday, off on Friday. Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
