About the role
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who enjoys working directly with patients and providers to create an outstanding healthcare experience. This is a responsibility-driven role requiring strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to teamwork and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, histories, and patient information
- Assist providers with examinations and treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments
- Educate patients on treatment plans and provider instructions
- Assist with clinical procedures and room turnover
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared
- Support a positive patient experience from arrival to discharge
Requirements
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working with multiple provider specialties
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
