Responsibilities
- Perform approved clinical and non-clinical tasks and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a Medical Provider, LPN, or RN.
- Assist the Clinical Team in providing patient care per St. John's Medical, PC policy and procedure, appropriate to the ages of the patients served and the area of clinical practice.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu by fostering an awareness of the clinical patient population.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
- Some college preferred, with a focus on medical, business, or health-care.
Experience:
- 5 years minimum of medical office or health-care facility experience preferred.
- Computer Experience Required: Microsoft Office, EMR, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS Coding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
