How you’ll make an impact in this role
Assess the unique goals and challenges of each mother and infant to create personalized lactation plans that support long-term breastfeeding success.
Educate families by demonstrating evidence-based techniques, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to nourish their infants confidently.
Guide nursing staff and physicians as a specialized clinical resource, ensuring a unified and supportive approach to lactation care across the medical team.
Lead the design of patient teaching plans and data-driven initiatives to constantly improve the quality of care and health outcomes for our newest arrivals.
Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certification specializing in Lactation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences We're Seeking
- RNs, Registered Dieticians, and those with a Bachelor's in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Experience with breastfeeding
- Certified lactation specialist or IBCLC licensure
