How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Guide new mothers through breastfeeding techniques and assessments to ensure both mother and infant meet their feeding goals.
• Mentor the care team by serving as the primary clinical expert and liaison for physicians and nursing staff on all lactation matters.
• Develop education plans that standardize high-quality breastfeeding instruction across the unit.
• Improve patient outcomes by tracking clinical data and identifying new ways to enhance the breastfeeding journey.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certification specializing in Lactation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• IBCLC required.
