Job Summary

Emterra Environmental USA Corp is a leading provider of recycling and waste disposal solutions. We are currently seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join our team in Flint, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex engine problems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, & hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Weld and fabricate parts as necessary to complete repairs.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical experience working on heavy-duty equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• 2+ State or ASE Certifications in Heavy Truck Repair.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record. CDL A or B preferred but not required.
• Must have your own tools.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
