Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist OR Physical Therapist

About the role

SportsCare & Armworks is excited to welcome a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical therapist to join our large hand team with an enthusiastic attitude to grow and develop their skills as a hand therapist in our Salem clinic location for immediate hire. We are proud to offer a mentorship program for Occupational or Physical therapists who are interested in becoming a CHT. We have a well-defined and proven mentorship program that has allowed us to walk alongside 1-2 therapists a year over the past 10 years to achieve their CHT goal!

Responsibilities

  • Treat post-traumatic, surgical, and repetitive strain injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand
  • Receive $1,500 annual CEU allowance plus Medbridge subscription
  • Provide 45-minute one-on-one treatment sessions, 11 treatments per day
  • Have a charting slot built into your schedule
  • Participate in a mentorship program for new hand therapists

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
  • Current state of OR occupational/Physical therapy license, current CHT license, CPR certification.
  • Experience in splinting preferred, or a strong willingness to learn splinting techniques.
  • A therapist that is a coach, guide and educator for their patients.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone that enters the clinic.
  • A passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy and patient care.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and multi therapist team environment.

Compensation: USD 93000 - USD 109000 - yearly

Schedule

45-minute appointments. 1:1 care. Half-day Fridays is a schedule option.
