Certified Hand Therapist - OT or PT

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional patient care across our West Lansing and Lansing outpatient clinics. We welcome motivated clinicians interested in pursuing CHT certification and offer mentorship and professional support to help you achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy interventions to improve function, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Design and implement treatment programs that promote strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and wellness.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Help patients reduce reliance on medication and explore conservative treatment options when appropriate.
