About the Role

As an outpatient Certified Hand Therapist, you'll work with patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and activities of daily living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role offers the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced-based practice for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient, empowering them to exceed their functional outcomes.
  • Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program.
  • State licensure in occupational therapy.
  • Registered with NBCOT.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
