Certified Cath Lab/IR Technologist
Responsibilities
- Assists by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
- Maintains par level of all instruments and supplies.
- Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Trains new staff in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications
- ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $33.81 to $48.97. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
