About the role
The Certified Caregiver position at Bickford Senior Living supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents' daily needs are met in a compassionate manner that maintains their dignity.
Responsibilities
- Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
- Aid in all aspects of a resident's daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
- Communicate appropriately with branch clinical leadership when a resident's needs change.
- Have knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
Qualifications
- An active CNA License in good standing.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Willingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Pay and Schedule
- Full-time: Pay available daily.
- Part-time: Pay available daily.
- PRN: Pay available daily.
Schedule
- Full-time: 30+ hours per week.
- Part-time: 29 or fewer hours per week.
- PRN: Available on a per-call basis.
