Certified All School Classroom Aide/ Floater (Full Time and Part Time)

About the role

JCC Greater Boston, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community, seeks a Floater Teacher to join the Godine Early Learning Center in Newton, MA. The Floater Teacher will support the center’s comprehensive curriculum focusing on children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks.
• Work in partnership with Early Learning Center Directors and peers to co-create a collaborative, dynamic, positive, and innovative classroom culture.
• Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children.
• Complete observation and document assessments regarding children's progress.
• Adhere to all EEC regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• EEC certified preferred (willing to become certified shortly upon hiring).

• Strong organizational skills, including teamwork, relationship-building skills, the ability to multitask, the ability to manage situations effectively and diplomatically.
• Oral and written communication skills.

• Computer literate.
