Part Time Certified Float Teacher

About the role

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in the North Shore, MA area on a part-time basis for the school year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Work in fast-paced behavioral health facilities
• Teach in a small classroom setting to child and adolescent school-age patients receiving treatment

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Massachusetts State teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation

Pay

Average pay is $30-35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

20 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 9a-1p.
