What You’ll Do as a Floater Teacher
- Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support the social and emotional development of each child.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and assist in classrooms across all age groups.
- Step into various classrooms as needed to support daily routines, planning time, and special activities.
Requirements
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- Empathy, patience, and strong teamwork skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely handle children as needed for classroom care and safety.
- (For Infant and Young Toddler classrooms): Must be able to properly lift and place infants into and out of cribs.
