Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients.
- Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to assist clients in managing their symptoms.
- Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay updated on best practices in clinical counseling and behavioral health.
Requirements
- Strong background in clinical counseling with experience in individual and group counseling.
- Proficient in inpatient assessment techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding related to behavioral health services.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A compassionate approach to counseling with a strong desire to help individuals improve their mental health.
Qualifications
Must have a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Addiction Counseling (CADC).

Pay
Pay for CADC depends on your case load, you can make $32k - $100k annually.
Schedule
The group is a 2/3 times a week (each session is 10-12 minutes long).
Things to Keep in Mind
- This is intensive community-based work.
- There is a mandatory 1-day orientation/training (MANDATORY).
- We do not pay for mileage.
- The group is held at the office closest to you, our locations are Durham, Wilson, Washington (NC), Greensboro, Ayden, Elkin, and Charlotte.
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
- The schedule is flexible within the specified days and hours.
