Certified Academic Tutor (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

Summary

Tutors students attending a TUSD school in a small group setting outside of work hours.

Minimum Requirements

• Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Certain endorsement/approved areas may be required for appropriately certified purposes

Requirements Prior To Start Date

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Location: Gale Elementary School - Broadway & Camino Seco Area

FTE: 0.0 - 1 hour per day

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
