About the role
- Punctual and dependable attendance.
- Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety and security policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes.
- Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.
- Manually sort donated goods merchandise by identifying condition and category (i.e., clothing, houseware, etc.).
- Visually examines items for flaws, irregularities, and determines if item is suitable for resale according to established quality standards.
- Clean/wipe down items with cleaning/deodorizer solvent to prepare the items for sale.
- Affords material handler by placing filled or empty handling equipment in proper locations.
- Meet daily production expectations and timelines set forth by the supervisor.
- Responsible for general housekeeping in work area.
- Must wear company approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
- Reliable transportation and communication, required.

Physical Requirements

- Frequent walking and long extended periods of time on foot.
- The ability to push, pull and lift 50 pounds, or more with assistance.
Work Environment
- Works in warehouse environment will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.
- Moderate noise level.
- Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
