Central Technology Center - 3rd Shift Operator, Full-Time

About the role

The Central Technology Center (CTC) Operator 1 position is a full-time, 3rd shift role dedicated to protecting industrial and commercial properties. The role involves monitoring alarms and cameras, dispatching calls, and providing assistance to employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness and respond to emergencies
• Coordinate response to life safety incidents
• Manage and handle sensitive situations with confidentiality
• Conduct investigative video reviews and report findings
• Document all reported incidents and notify appropriate parties
• Ensure proper functioning of security systems and report deficiencies
• Monitor and test alarm systems
• Prepare and provide reports as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience in a physical Security Operations Center (SOC), GSOC, or security/law enforcement positions
• Knowledge of mass notification tools
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information under stress
• Flexible availability to cover extra hours as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or related field preferred
• Prior camera and/or alarm integrator experience is a plus
• Tennessee Alarm Monitoring License or ability to obtain
