Central Technology Center - 2nd Shift Operator, Full-Time

About the role

The Central Technology Center (CTC) Operator 1 position is a full-time, second-shift role dedicated to protecting industrial and commercial properties. The role involves monitoring alarms and cameras, dispatching calls, and providing assistance to employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness and respond to emergencies promptly
• Coordinate responses to life safety incidents and dispatch security personnel as required
• Manage and handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
• Conduct investigative video reviews and report findings
• Document all reported incidents and notify appropriate parties
• Ensure proper functioning of security systems and report deficiencies
• Proactively monitor extreme weather conditions and coordinate responses
• Support employees with security concerns through various communication channels
• Perform routine alarm testing and remote audits
• Prepare and provide reports as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience in a physical Security Operations Center (SOC), GSOC, or security/law enforcement positions
• Working knowledge of mass notification tools
• Rapid analysis of large amounts of information under stress
• Flexibility to work shifts and cover extra hours as needed
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Homeland Security)
• Prior camera/alarm integrator experience
• Tennessee Alarm Monitoring License or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Ability to type at least 45 wpm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office products
• Valid driver's license
