Full Time (2nd Shift) Central Fill Technician
Main Responsibilities
- Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety, and security procedures and processes of the company.
- Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products and quantities for filling prescription orders.
- Ensure medication counting devices are continuously replenished.
- Aid in maintaining the pharmacy system and technology that facilitates proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.
- Maintain inventory and supply levels at responsible stations, calibrate machines, troubleshoot routine errors, and work as a team to reach team goals.
- Monitor and maintain uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
- Create and maintain documentation as requested.
- Manually fill prescriptions as needed.
- Verify attributes of the product such as: size, strength, quantity, etc. before processing orders.
- Enter or scan expiration date and lot numbers.
- Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct.
- Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed.
- Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed.
- Assist Inventory Technicians as requested.
- Participate in Inventory Audits as needed.

Required
- Pharmacy Technician License in Washington.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
Preferred
- A national Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Central Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Prefers to work in a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work).
- Good computer skills.
- Good math skills.
Physical Requirements
- Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Visual focus such as counting, observing, etc. is required consistently.
- Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time.
