Network Operations Center Technician (3rd Shift)
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains network management system and coordinates with telecom providers for restoration efforts.
- Tracks incident details and updates the incident management tool promptly and accurately.
- Solves systems and network problems within their scope and complexity level.
- Oversees high availability IP networks, messaging systems, and Air to Ground data communications equipment and systems.
- Addresses routine technical queries from Collins Aerospace CAS customers and CAS Business Units.
- Takes guidance from team members or management to resolve less routine issues.
- Collaborates with team members to resolve moderate to complex issues, sometimes taking the lead.
- Interprets and applies established processes with discretion to prevent prolonged or wider spread failures.
- Maintains and troubleshoots system performance, resolves or escalates network issues.
- Analyzes issues and provides guidance to customers to resolve problems.

Basic Qualifications
- AA/AS degree or equivalent 2-year post-high school training with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a HS diploma, GED, or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Awarded authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Remedy, Netcool, Office 365, ServiceNow
- CCNA certification
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Annapolis, MD.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
