About the role

We are seeking a Central Service Manager for our team to be an innovator. HCA Healthcare partners with Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC to use our data from more than 26 million patient encounters each year to impact the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and monitor activities of the unit to meet patient, physician, and unit needs.
  • Operationalize institutional and unit goals and objectives.
  • Provide an environment conducive to professional growth for personnel.
  • Ensure appropriate resource utilization in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • A degree in an Associate Arts field, with specialty certification preferred (Certified Surgical Technician acceptable).
  • At least two years of management experience.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive Central Service or surgery experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sterilization principles, theories, and practices, as well as knowledge of new modalities of surgical techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated teaching and precepting skills.
