Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process used instruments
• Process instruments with various chemicals to sterilize the instruments for future use
• Ensure the organization has an adequate inventory of instruments as needed
• Work alone when sterilizing instruments in the Central Processing Department (CPD)
• Work with Surgical Technicians to ensure instruments are set properly in operating rooms upcoming operations

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good communication skills
