Central Office_Part-Time Non-Certified Tutor, Title I (Private Schools Only) (Federal Programs) 2026-2027

This is a one-year position funded through Title I, ending on or before June 30, 2027. Continuation beyond this date requires applying for and being recommended for a new position within the DeKalb County School District for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

We are seeking a Title I Tutor who utilizes best practices to increase student achievement. The primary responsibility is to implement, deliver, and promote high academic expectations for all students. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with team members and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment, or
• An associate degree or higher from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university, or
• Minimum of sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of college courses completed with a GPA of 2.0 or higher from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university.

A valid Professional Standards Commission-approved paraprofessional certificate is required.
