Central Market (Southlake) Dairy Sales Lead - Full time

Responsibilities

• Applying advanced skills in procedures and techniques specific to area of specialization
• May carry out supervisory responsibilities
• Order assigned products to maximize sales
• Possess and convey a culinary level of food expertise
• Work under minimal supervision and from detailed verbal and written instructions
• Apply accepted guidelines, rules and procedures to decisions
• Continually monitor and immediately address problems
• Make sound decisions on everyday issues and problems
• Requires specific product knowledge depending on the Department
• Assist in ordering
• May assist in writing weekly Department schedule
• Identify and address high priority activities first
• Communicate clear expectations for assignments
• Delegate responsibility to appropriate Partners
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain operating effectiveness
• Ensure that all federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met
• Maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control
• Assist in merchandising the department to maximize sales
• Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

Requirements

Typically requires 5-8 years experience. Previous retail/restaurant experience. Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 5
