Central Market (Southlake) Produce Sales Lead - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Aid in product ordering
• Assist in creating weekly department schedule
• Identify and prioritize high-priority activities
• Communicate clear expectations for tasks
• Delegate responsibilities to appropriate team members
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain operational effectiveness
• Safeguard compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation
• Enhance department merchandising efforts to boost sales
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase sales

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including 5-8 years in a similar role
• Previous experience in retail or restaurant environments
• Thorough knowledge of department-specific products, food preparation, and equipment
• Extensive understanding of specialty food products and preparation methods
• Outstanding customer service skills
• A strong passion for food
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to operate efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting
• Capable of working in various temperature conditions
