Center Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day plasma center operations to ensure efficient plasma collections.
• Provides instructions, conducts meetings and communicates performance expectations.
• Advises management on employee relations and escalated donor issues.
• Facilitates donor movement throughout the center, minimizing wait and processing time.
• Maintains time card reporting procedures, attendance and utilization of overtime.
• Conducts error investigations and develops recommendations for process improvement.
• Participates with management in recruitment and selection of center operations staff and provides performance appraisals and feedback.
• Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• May assist with recruitment and selection of center operation staff and implementation of marketing initiatives to increase donor retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred.
• Minimum of (1) year supervisory experience required with responsibility for overseeing the activities of others.
