Center Supervisor

About the role

This position supervises plasma center operations and staff to ensure efficient collections. Reporting to the Center Manager, responsibilities include:

• Supervise daily activities in compliance with SOPs
• Provide clear instructions and conduct meetings
• Communicate performance expectations
• Perform tasks in work areas as needed
• Advise on employee relations and donor issues
• Facilitate donor movement and ensure adequate staffing
• Monitor time card procedures and attendance
• Conduct error investigations and recommend process improvements
• Participate in performance appraisals and provide feedback
• Assist with recruitment and selection of staff
• Adhere to company policies and promote compliance
• Support marketing initiatives to increase donor retention
• Maintain accurate donor data and ensure compliance with SOPs
• Understand and adhere to hyper immune program policies
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment
• Comply with HSE and OSHA policies
• Conduct internal audits and promote safety
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information
• Be cross-trained in all technical areas and other functions
• May assist with recruitment and selection of staff

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year supervisory, leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of others
• Education: High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred
• Shares information with internal contacts with common desire to reach a solution
• Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation
• Occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking up to 100% of time
• Reach, bend, kneel and have high level of manual dexterity
• Occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment
• Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures and to blood borne pathogens
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas
• May be required to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs
