About the role

The outpatient orthopedic physical therapy center is seeking a licensed physical therapist to lead and provide exceptional patient care experiences as a treating manager.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a highly trained and respected outpatient orthopedic therapy team providing preventative and rehab services that maximize functionality and promote the well-being of our patients.
  • Service the population of Eastern Jackson County, drawing its population from Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown and Kansas City.
  • Manage the center’s case load which includes General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Dry Needling, Vestibular/Concussion, Oncology, Work Conditioning and FCEs.
  • Develop new programs through the Education Department within Select Medical.
  • Participate in industry-leading continuing education opportunities.
  • Assume responsibility of our center and uphold executive decisions.
  • Partner with physicians, employers, payors and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Expand and develop a team of talented PTs and physical therapist assistants (PTAs).
  • Participate in philanthropic programs and events to give back to the community.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License to start.

Qualifications

  • Passionate and driven.
  • Experience leading a physical therapy team.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief.
