About the role
The outpatient orthopedic physical therapy center is seeking a licensed physical therapist to lead and provide exceptional patient care experiences as a treating manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a highly trained and respected outpatient orthopedic therapy team providing preventative and rehab services that maximize functionality and promote the well-being of our patients.
- Service the population of Eastern Jackson County, drawing its population from Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown and Kansas City.
- Manage the center’s case load which includes General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Dry Needling, Vestibular/Concussion, Oncology, Work Conditioning and FCEs.
- Develop new programs through the Education Department within Select Medical.
- Participate in industry-leading continuing education opportunities.
- Assume responsibility of our center and uphold executive decisions.
- Partner with physicians, employers, payors and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Expand and develop a team of talented PTs and physical therapist assistants (PTAs).
- Participate in philanthropic programs and events to give back to the community.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.
- Valid State Physical Therapist License to start.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
- $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief.
