Center Director - Northwest Houston, TX

About the role

Sylvan Learning is seeking a Center Director to lead operations in Northwest Houston, TX. As a Center Director, you will maximize student enrollments, execute marketing strategies, deliver exceptional service, manage performance, and build relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maximize student enrollments
• Execute best marketing practices to increase awareness of Sylvan Learning in your region
• Deliver platinum level service to ensure parents and kids keep coming back
• Manage your center's performance, including revenue and expenses
• Oversee consultations and conferences with parents alongside your educational staff
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff
• Recruit, train, and manage your center's team

Requirements

• A positive attitude with a desire to be successful
• Education or customer service or retail management experience is preferred, but not required
• People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team is helpful, but not required
• The ability to influence and build positive relationships is a must!
• The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively. We will teach you the most important things
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work some evening hours, and some Saturdays

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is positive, customer service focused, and enjoys working with people. An education background is helpful, but some of our best people come from industries not connected to education. We will teach you if you are willing to learn and have a great attitude!

Pay

$55,000 to $65,000 base pay, with a bonus in addition to base pay, typically ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 annually, with no limit on the bonus amount.

Schedule

Some evening hours and some Saturdays are required.
