About the Role
LLE Education is seeking an experienced Center Director who is passionate about motivating children and teachers alike to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will inspire children, connect with the community, and build meaningful relationships while empowering teachers to excel in the classroom and ensuring the success of their school.
Requirements
- Early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, CCP, or AAS in early childhood education; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the operations of a childcare facility
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training, as well as instruction methods, programs, philosophies, and theories relevant to childcare operations
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Ten or more hours of management training
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role
- Successful completion of the Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff
- Successful background check and compliance with VA licensing standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the assigned center in accordance with LLE Group policies and applicable licensing standards
- Ensure the overall financial health of the school, including budget maintenance, billing, tuition collection, fundraising, vendor management, and inventory control
- Maintain the upkeep of the school grounds and facility
- Implement training programs to enhance staff skill and professionalism
- Ensure staff complete the required number of training hours as mandated by licensing and accreditation standards
- Develop and execute targeted marketing plans and implement the Marketing Department’s Enrollment Building program
- Evaluate programs through classroom observations, develop improvement plans, and coordinate implementation with the District Director
- Attend meetings for business and organizational development as directed by the District Director or supervisors
- Manage hiring, orientation, training, counseling, and termination of staff
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, training, certifications, and geography.
