Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming, and hospitality destination features a $1.5 billion expansion with 1,271 upscale guestrooms, a 42,000 square-foot Rock Spa® & Salon, a 13.5-acre recreational lagoon, 19 dining outlets, 20 bars and lounges, a 3,100-slot gaming floor, 195 table games, a 45-table poker room, 120,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and a 7,000-capacity Hard Rock Live entertainment venue.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares all drinks in accordance with established recipes.
  • Serves guests and servers according to established policy.
  • Acts as a cashier in front and service bars, handling checks and settlement of guest checks in accordance with policies.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Ensures a positive guest experience by interacting and servicing guests in a cordial and gracious manner.
  • Exhibits conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying management of concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, as well as a certificate in Mixology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in high-volume bartending.
  • T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Work Environment

  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, taste, or smell.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans, with first preference to members of the Seminole Tribe and second preference to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet job requirements.

Final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check, which may include credit and criminal background checks.
