Cell Build Technician, Prototype

Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Cell Build Technician to support development of our core technology through the processing of experimental build requests. This role reports into our R&D Sector. As part of our Core Technology team, you will be part of the Prototype Build line, working in close collaboration with the Design and Manufacturing Engineers on our team.

What You'll Do

• Inspect, organize and prepare raw material, components and hardware
• Track material usage to provide traceability/perform inventory cycle counts
• Operate manufacturing equipment to perform assigned tasks per work instructions and in accordance with all safety standards
• Document and organize battery assembly notes and status for performance traceability
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5s standards to make sure the next shift is set up for success
• Work as part of a tight-knit team to contribute to innovative and creative solutions

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment with good general manufacturing practices (GMPs)
• Demonstrated experience with hand tools; experience with manufacturing equipment is a plus
• Aptitude for high quality and detail-oriented work
• Able to move up to 50 lbs
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods
• Solid communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
