Cell Tower Technician
What You Will Do
- Installation and maintenance of mounts, platforms, antennas, RRU’s, TMA, and other related equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures to expand and upgrade cellular networks.
- Installation and maintenance of coaxial and DC power/fiber optic transmission lines.
- Aid with testing of new and existing equipment, including sweep, PIM, or fiber testing.
- Installation of ice bridges, cable trays, equipment pads, racks, and platforms.
- Installation of underground and in-building conduits for electrical and backhaul circuits.
- Learn and incorporate climbing and work safety requirements.
- Work as a team to function as part of a 3-4-man crew.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Will Need
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cellular construction.
- Valid and active driver's license that is insurable according to the standards of the company.
- Excellent physical conditioning and stamina.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to snow, rain and varying temperatures.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
- Willingness to travel up to 100 miles per day with a Foreman.
Work Environment
- Frequent standing, using hands to finger/handle/feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing.
- Sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally.
- Lifting or carrying up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 or 100 lbs.
- Climbing to and working at heights exceeding 300’.
- Good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

About the Role
The Tower Technician will be responsible for the performance of various construction tasks in the areas of tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, antenna mount installation, RF testing and troubleshooting. This position is for candidates with experience in cellular construction.
Requirements
