CEI Transportation Inspector

About the role

The CEI Technician Inspector (Level I) position at ESP is focused on NCDOT on-call highway and bridge projects within the Boone area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in transportation project inspections and current or obtainable NCDOT certifications. Familiarity with nuclear densities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect transportation projects to ensure they meet design specifications
• Verify and document the construction process as per project requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to provide expertise and support
• Adhere to company policies regarding drug screening, background checks, and driving records

Requirements

• Previous experience in transportation project inspections
• Current or obtainable NCDOT certifications
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record
• Experience with nuclear densities is a plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
