CEI / Transportation Inspector

About the role

ESP is recruiting for all levels of CEI Inspectors for highway and bridge projects throughout Western, NC. Previous experience in the inspection of transportation projects and certifications from NCDOT are required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and document that transportation projects are built as intended
• Add value to the project team through knowledge, communication, and experience
• Work on various types of construction contracting methods including General Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Public Private Partnerships (P3)
• Focus on CE&I and CM markets such as highways and bridges, rail and transit, tollways, municipal trails, streets and roads

Requirements

• Pass a drug screen
• Pass a background check
• Have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the inspection of transportation projects
• Certifications from NCDOT

Skills

• Knowledge of various types of construction contracting methods
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience working on project teams
