CEI Inspection Aide
About the role
We are seeking a Construction Inspector Aide to join our dynamic Field Services team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our clients' infrastructure projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines.
- Maintain accurate records and inspections of construction projects.
- Coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing.
- Support the Construction Inspectors in reviewing work while in progress.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Technical school or Associate degree
- Some demonstrated experience in construction inspection
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
- Preferred local candidates
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
