Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Preventative Maintenance position at Kotarides Property Management involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community, performing interior and exterior painting, assisting with make-ready duties, distributing notices to residents, and being available for property clean-up and emergencies during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the property by physically walking the property on a frequent basis and removing litter, debris, etc.
• Performs interior and exterior painting duties when requested.
• Aid with make-ready duties and complete unit work orders when requested.
• Distribute notices to residents.
• Be available to report to work during any inclement weather event for property clean-up and emergencies.
• Be aware of the condition of physical property throughout the community and immediately correct unsafe conditions (i.e. burned out exterior lights, open holes, broken gates, etc.).
• Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with the residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in apartment or similar maintenance.
• Experience in construction field preferred.
