GHD is seeking a CEI Assistant Contract Support Specialist to join their team in Miami, FL. This role involves contributing to initiatives that enhance transportation and public safety across the State, including roadway, drainage, and traffic signal improvements. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure projects run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office tasks and maintain precise document control
- Affirm funding availability for project execution
- Process payment requisitions
- Prepare weekly reports for supervisors
- Streamline workflows and maintain data integrity using tools like INFORMS and Public Works Systems
- Develop own capabilities through ongoing education and training
- Identify and report non-compliance issues within the team
- Draft elements of project review reports and presentations
Requirements
- Experience working on roadway and drainage projects
- Prior experience in contract administration, procurement, and project control
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in INFORMS and Public Works Systems
- Ability to work in the field the majority of the time
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of INFORMS and Public Works Systems
