CE Transportation Advanced - Regional Workzone Engineer - $3,000 sign-on bonus
Position Summary
This position functions as the Region's Workzone Traffic Control Engineer and performs advanced traffic engineering work on projects and issues in the Madison area counties. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, providing highly technical guidance and acceptance in all stages of development of the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for projects in the region. This position will have knowledge of rules and guidelines pertaining to permanent traffic control standards, work zone traffic control and traffic management/mobility requirements. This position will assist with the development, coordination, and PS&E submittal of signing and marking plans and traffic mitigation contracts. And will participate in the Region review of Traffic Impact Analysis for land use Development, which may affect the operation of the STH systems. This position will assist the planning unit in determining the effects of a land development and also type of remediation may be required for that development.
Salary Information
This position is in schedule-range 14-13 with an annual salary of $92,768 - $114,483, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications
- A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state
