Airport Development Engineer – Civil Engineer Transportation Advanced - Sign-on Bonus of $3,000

Position Summary

This position will manage the entire scope of airport development projects, including contracting, planning, design and construction. This position also works directly with local officials, Federal Aviation Administration, and other state, local and federal agencies on sensitive and complex issues with broad authority to establish project parameters. This position will also work to delegate project tasks to other section staff members.

Salary Information

This position is in schedule-range 14-13 with an annual salary of $92,768-$112,237, plus excellent benefits. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications

  • A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state

Job Details

This state agency does not sponsor work visas. This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension.
