CDS Mail Carrier

About the role

CDS Mail Carrier positions with TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC are available now. We are seeking applicants to deliver mail PART TIME on a CDS mail route in the Lewisburg, West Virginia area.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 550 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Delivering mail along an assigned 47.6-line-of-travel
• Other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the area

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements

• One (1) dependable vehicle meeting postal regulations
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• Vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs are the responsibility of the applicant

Employment Details

• Hours: Day Shift - 8:00am – 3:15pm* - Part time, generally two days per week
• Pay: $25.92 - $26.88*/hour plus vehicle reimbursement
• *Start and End time may vary
• Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid West Virginia driver's license
• Pass a drug test
• Meet USPS criminal background standards
