CDS Mail Carrier

About the role

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Princeton/Athens, West Virginia area.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Deliver mail along an assigned line-of-travel
• Dismount if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid West Virginia driver’s license
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the Princeton/Athens, West Virginia area
• Must pass a drug test
• Criminal background history that meets USPS standards

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements

• Must furnish a vehicle that meets postal regulations and driving requirements
• One dependable vehicle (Mini-Van or Equivalent) or equivalent providing 150 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
• Responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs

Schedule

• Day Shift - Shift A: 5:45 AM – 11:35 AM*
• End time will vary as work continues until all mail and parcels are delivered
• *Start and end times may vary

Pay

• $26.97 per hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
• Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday, and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out
• Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act
• Rate of pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division
